ABOUT US
About Toronto Go Education
Connecting culture, learning, and community through Go.
Our Story
Toronto Go Education, formerly Halifax Go School, was founded in 2021. Since then, we have introduced more than one hundred young students to Go and helped many students progress from complete beginners to national-level award winners.
Toronto Go Education is a designated Go ranking organization of the Canadian Go Association. We have organized multiple Atlantic regional Go tournaments, more than ten youth Go ranking tournaments, and successfully hosted the 48th Canadian Open Go Championship in 2025.
Today, we offer in-person youth Go programs in the Richmond Hill and Markham communities, as well as online classes.
